Jumpbox is Thierry, Mevlana, Alex, Cédric but also Karine, the founder of the first trampoline park in Luxembourg.
After a career in financial marketing in England, this mompreneur decided to leave Queen Elizabeth's land to settle on the Grand Duke Henri's land and change her career 360°. After graduating, she became an English teacher at the Lycée Français Vauban for 6 years while coaching gymnastics in her spare time.
It was one evening, while watching an interview with her daughters about a British champion training in a trampoline park that she got the idea. In 2016, Karine decided to open Jumpbox.
Some time later, she flew to England to learn more about the trampoline park concept, which did not exist in the small Grand Duchy. Back in our beautiful country, with her business plan under her arm, she approached Luxembourg financiers to help her realise her project.
"It would have been easier to take out a franchise, but I wanted a fun park that would appeal to as wide an audience as possible."
It is thanks to this determination and all this investment that the project finally saw the light of day.
For the layout, Karine opted for a park where everything is designed for everyone's pleasure. As for the decoration, recycling was an obvious choice. "To raise awareness of ecology, to preserve our natural resources and to reuse existing materials. I wanted to give a responsible and sustainable orientation to my business park," she confides.
Despite the pandemic, Karine did her best to preserve her business and her employees, often working alone for 18 months and looking for new ways to get back on track and ensure the well-being of her employees. "The basis of a business is the well-being of the employees/partners. If they are not happy, they will not give a good image of the company" she smiles.
Today, Karine and her team are always there to welcome you in a good mood. Jumpbox is a friendly place where you can relax and have a good time, with your family, friends, colleagues, all are welcome in this park where life is good.
